Riverside Walwa on the Murray River, VIC

The Mighty Murray River

It is fun to spend a weekend camping with friends and family and many times we have been lucky to be able to spend a relaxing, memorable escape from the hum drum of everyday life at Walwa Riverside Caravan Park.

CAMPING AT NIGHT

With our tents, campervans and caravans lining the waters edge, our days are spent swimming in the fast, cold water of the river or hiring a canoe from the Upper Murray Cottages and spend an afternoon guiding our canoes with the current of the river for a few hours.

DAWN LIGHT APPEARS IN THE FOG ON THE MURRAY RIVER

Usually on a Saturday night we will spend a pleasant evening with a meal at the Walwa Hotel. With beautiful, large meals and a friendly country atmosphere, we always had a memorable evening. Not to forget our walk under the stars back to the caravan park

THE DAWN SKY COLOURS AS THE SUN RISES

With friends and family there was always some reminiscing and tall tales being told as we enjoyed wonderful company and a beautiful location
