Sunday Brekky, Croajingolong Cafe, Mallacoota Vic

We were travelling with our van through Eastern Victoria and would be away about three weeks. From Canberra we travelled to Mallacoota in the East Gippsland area on the north east coast of Victoria. An isolated town on the estuary of the Wallagaraugh River, which forms the Top Lake and Bottom Lake, Mallacoota Inlet before meeting Bass Strait and is surrounded by the Croajingolong National Park.

We had spent most of the previous week cooking our meals, however, we decided on Sunday morning to try out the Croajingolong Cafe for breakfast. The food was fresh, and plenty of it. The service was great, and any cafe that serves freshly squeezed orange juice is immediately on my besties list.

My breakfast of bacon and eggs was given a special touch with a balsamic glaze, feta cheese, basil and nasturtiums decorating the basics of bacon and eggs served on sourdough
